Removal And Installation: Seat: Installation

  1. For the RH 40 percent seat, position the seat in the vehicle and install the retainers.
    1. Install the seat-to-floor rear inboard nut.
      • Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
    2. Install the seat-to-floor rear outboard nut.
      • Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
    3. Install the seat-to-floor front outboard bolt.
      • Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
    4. Install the seat-to-floor front inboard bolt.
      • Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

  2. For the 60 percent seat or LH 40 percent seat, position the seat in the vehicle and install the retainers.
    1. Install the seat-to-floor rear inboard nut.
      • Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
    2. Install the seat-to-floor rear outboard nut.
      • Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
    3. Install the seat-to-floor front outboard bolt.
      • Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
    4. Install the seat-to-floor front inboard bolt.
      • Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

  3. Connect the electrical connector(s).
  4. If the SRS was depowered, repower the SRS. REFER to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) DEPOWERING AND REPOWERING - WITH INTELLIGENT ACCESS (IA) , or REFER to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) DEPOWERING AND REPOWERING - WITHOUT INTELLIGENT ACCESS (IA) .
