SYMPTOM CHART: SEATING - CLIMATE CONTROLLED

No communication with the DCSM	Fuse Wiring, terminals or connectors DCSM	REFER to DIAGNOSTIC ROUTINE Q : The Dual Climate Controlled Seat Module (DCSM) Does Not Respond To The Scan Tool.
All climate controlled seats are inoperative	Fuse Wiring, terminals or connectors I-CAN communication fault HS-CAN communication fault MS-CAN communication fault DCSM FCIM APIM FDIM	VERIFY BJB fuse 28 (30A) is OK. If OK, CARRY OUT the network test using a scan tool and VERIFY network communication of the FCIM and DCSM. REFER to SYMPTOM CHART: COMMUNICATION NETWORK to diagnose a module communication or network concern. If OK, CARRY OUT the DCSM self-test and RETRIEVE any DTCs . If any DTC is present, REFER to DTC Chart: Dual Climate Controlled Seat Module (DCSM) . VERIFY the touchscreen operation. If the touchscreen does not operate correctly, REFER to INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM -- PREMIUM PLUS or REFER to PINPOINT TEST W: THE TOUCHSCREEN IS INOPERATIVE OR DOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY : The Touch Screen Is Inoperative Or Does Not Operate Correctly (if equipped with Sony® Sound). If OK, INSTALL a new DCSM. REFER to Dual Climate Controlled Seat Module (DCSM) .
A single climate controlled seat is inoperative	Wiring, terminals or connectors APIM FDIM DCSM	NOTE: If a fault occurs setting a DTC specific to only one climate controlled seat, the DCSM disables only the affected seat outputs and allow the other seat to remain operational. CHECK for DTCs specific to the affected climate controlled seat and if a DTC is present, REFER to DTC Chart: Dual Climate Controlled Seat Module (DCSM) . REFER to Diagnostic Routine N: A Single Climate Controlled Seat is Inoperative .
A single climate controlled seat does not operate correctly - poor or intermittent cooling/heating	Excessive sun load or extreme cabin temperatures Incorrectly installed TED or manifold Air flow blockage TED DCSM	CARRY OUT the DCSM self-test and retrieve any DTCs. If any DTC is present, Refer to DTC Chart: Dual Climate Controlled Seat Module (DCSM) . If no DTC is present, CHECK the affected seat cushion or backrest for correct installation of the climate controlled seat components (TED, manifold air duct and foam pad) and REPAIR as needed. If OK, CHECK for air flow restrictions (TED inlets and outlets, TED -to-manifold connections, filters and ducts) and REPAIR as needed. CHECK the TED cooling performance on the affected seat and VERIFY the system is operating correctly. Refer to DTC Chart: Dual Climate Controlled Seat Module (DCSM) .
A single climate controlled seat does not operate correctly - exhibits poor air flow or performance	Incorrectly installed TED or manifold Air flow blockage Disconnected air duct	CARRY OUT the DCSM self-test and retrieve any DTCs . If any DTC is present, REFER to DTC Chart: Dual Climate Controlled Seat Module (DCSM) . If no DTC is present, CHECK the affected seat cushion or backrest for correct installation of the climate controlled seat components (TED, manifold air duct and foam pad) and REPAIR as needed. If OK, CHECK for air flow restrictions (TED inlets and outlets, TED-to-manifold connections, filters and ducts) and REPAIR as needed. RETEST the system for normal operation.
