Pinpoint Test

  1. CHECK THE SUSPECT DOOR LOCK CONTROL SWITCH
    1. Disconnect Suspect Door Lock Control Switch.
    2. Carry out the door lock control switch component test.
    3. Refer to the OEM Wiring Diagrams - COMPONENT TESTING for schematic and connector information.

    Does the door lock control switch pass the component test? 

    • Yes: REPAIR the affected door lock control switch ground circuit for an open.
    • No: INSTALL a new door lock control switch, REFER to Door Lock Control Switch .
