Pinpoint Test

CHECK THE OPERATION OF THE STOPLAMPS
1. Ignition OFF.
2. Apply and release the brake pedal while observing the stoplamps.
Do the stoplamps illuminate with the brake pedal applied?
- Yes: GO to 2 .
- No: REFER to Diagnostic Routine N: One Or More Stoplamps Are Inoperative .

CHECK FOR VOLTAGE TO THE REVERSING LAMP

Apply the parking brake.
Disconnect: Inoperative Reversing Lamp.
Ignition ON.
Select REVERSE.

Measure:

Inoperative Reversing Lamp			Ground

Rear Lamp			Ground
Connector-Pin	Circuit	Measurement / Action	Pin	Circuit
Left C414-4	CLS28 (BU/WH)		-	Ground
Right C417- 4	CLS28 (BU/WH)		-	Ground

Is the voltage greater than 11 volts?

Yes: REPAIR or INSTALL a new rear lamp jumper harness.
No: REPAIR the reversing lamp voltage supply circuit for an open.
