Pinpoint Test

1. Using a scan tool, perform a network test.

Does the SOD-R pass the network test? 

• Yes: The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by high network traffic or an intermittent problem.
• No: GO to 2  .

1. Disconnect: SOD-R  .
2. Measure:

   SOD-R			Ground
   C4370			Ground
   Pin	Circuit	Measurement / Action	Pin	Circuit
   6	GD351 (BK/GN)		-	Ground

Is the resistance less than 3 ohms? 

• Yes: GO to 3  .
• No: REPAIR the circuit.

1. Using a scan tool, perform the PMI for the SOD-R  . Follow the programming procedure as directed by the scan tool. REFER to PROGRAMMABLE MODULE INSTALLATION (PMI) .
2. Repeat the network test.

Does the SOD-R pass the network test? 

• Yes: The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern was due to incorrect configuration.
• No: REFER to DIAGNOSTIC ROUTINE W : The Side Obstacle Detection Control Module - Right (SOD-R) Does Not Respond To The Scan Tool.
