B0053:11, B0053:12, B0053:13 and B0053:1D

On vehicles equipped with inflatable safety belts, the RCM monitors the second row left safety belt buckle switch circuits for the following faults:
- Open circuit
- Short to voltage
- Short to ground
- Current out of range
- Faulted second row left safety belt buckle switch
If a fault is detected, the RCM stores DTC B0053:11, B0053:12, B0053:13 or B0053:1D in memory and sends a message to the IPC to illuminate the air bag warning indicator.

| B0053:13 | Second Row Left Seatbelt Sensor: Circuit Open | A fault is indicated when the RCM senses an open on either second row left safety belt buckle switch circuit. |
| B0053:1D | Second Row Left Seatbelt Sensor: Circuit Current Out of Range | A fault is indicated when the RCM senses current out of an acceptable range between the second row left safety belt buckle switch circuits. |
