Quick Connect Coupling Retainer Clip: Removal

  1. Remove the top portion of the retainer clip by cutting both sides of the retainer clip below the tab of the primary latch.

  2. Grasp the side of the remaining retainer clip, pull outward and remove the retainer clip from the quick connect coupling body.

  3. Inspect the inside of the quick connector and remove any debris.
