Removal and Installation

- Remove the upper cooling fan shroud. For additional information, refer to COOLING FAN SHROUD - UPPER .
- Disconnect the cooling fan clutch electrical connector.
- Remove the cooling fan clutch electrical connector bracket bolt.
- To install, tighten to 24 Nm (18 lb-ft).
- Using the Wrench and the Fan Clutch Nut Wrench, remove the cooling fan.
- To install, tighten to 133 Nm (98 lb-ft).
- If servicing the cooling fan or the cooling fan clutch, remove the four nuts and separate the cooling fan from the cooling fan clutch.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
