Removal and Installation

  1. Refer to exploded view(s) and any Warnings, Notices, Notes, Materials, Specifications and Special Tools. Items in the exploded views may not be listed in order of removal.
  2. It may be necessary to remove the LH fender splash shield to access the steering components. For additional information, refer to FRONT END BODY PANELS .
  3. For vehicles equipped with a 6.7 L engine, remove the degas bottle to access the power steering pressure lines. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING - DIESEL ENGINES .
  4. Fill the power steering system. For additional information, refer to STEERING SYSTEM .
