Pinpoint Test Ah: DTC U3002:62

  1. AH1 VERIFY BCM VIN 
    • Ignition ON.
    • Enter the following diagnostic mode on the scan tool: Log Viewer.
    • Compare the VIN in Log Viewer to the vehicle VIN plate.
    • Does VIN in Log Viewer match the vehicle VIN plate? 
    1. Yes  : GO to AH2.
    2. No  : CARRY OUT Programmable Module Installation (PMI) for the BCM. REFER to MODULE CONFIGURATION . TEST the system for normal operation.
  2. AH2 VERIFY ABS MODULE PART NUMBER 
    • Retrieve and record the ABS module part number from Log Viewer and verify that the vehicle has the correct ABS module installed.
    • Is the correct ABS module installed in the vehicle? 
    1. Yes  : CARRY OUT PMI for the ABS module. REFER to MODULE CONFIGURATION . TEST the system for normal operation.
    2. No  : INSTALL a new ABS module. REFER to ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE . CLEAR the DTC. CYCLE the ignition key. REPEAT the self-test.
