Removal and Installation

All vehicles
- Remove the wheel and tire. For additional information, refer to
WHEELS AND TIRES
.
Vehicles with Dual Rear Wheels (DRW)

NOTE: The brake disc is part of the wheel hub on all DRW axle applications.
Remove the wheel bearing and hub assembly. For additional information on the Dana axle, refer to WHEEL HUBS AND BEARINGS - FULL FLOATING AXLE - DANA . For additional information on the Ford axle, refer to WHEEL HUBS AND BEARINGS - FULL FLOATING AXLE - FORD .
- Visual check. Sandpaper. Clean the specified component with the specified material/cleaner.

NOTE: Do not apply anti-seize to wheel studs or incorrect tightening of the wheel nuts may occur.
Vehicles with Single Rear Wheel (SRW)

NOTE: Do not allow the brake caliper to hang from the brake hose or damage to the hose can occur.
Relocate and support the component.
- Visual check. Sandpaper. Clean the specified component with the specified material/cleaner.

NOTE: Do not apply anti-seize to wheel studs or incorrect tightening of the wheel nuts may occur.
Apply the specified chemical/lubricant with a brush.
