Driveshaft Slip Yoke: Assembly

- Fill the driveshaft slip yoke boot with approximately 10 g (0.36 oz.) of grease.
- Position the driveshaft slip yoke boot clamp on the stub shaft.
- Slide the driveshaft slip yoke boot over the stub shaft, and seat it in the boot groove.
- Using the Constant Velocity Joint Boot Clamp Installer, install the driveshaft slip yoke boot clamp.
- Install the driveshaft slip yoke.
- Position the driveshaft slip yoke boot clamp.
- Lubricate the stub shaft splines with grease.
- Align the index marks and install the driveshaft slip yoke.
- Seat the driveshaft slip yoke boot in the boot groove.
- Remove all excess grease from the slip yoke boot and the slip yoke.
- Using the Constant Velocity Joint Boot Clamp Installer, install the opposing driveshaft slip yoke boot clamps. Tighten the tool until the clamp is secure.
- Remove all excess grease from the slip yoke boot and the slip yoke.
