Condition Possible Sources Action
  • NOTE: LED lamps draw low current compared to an incandescent bulb. The Body Control Module (BCM) interprets this as a bulb out and fast flashes (bulb outage mode) the turn lamps if not configured correctly.

    The turn signal lamps flash fast and no bulbs are inoperative

  • BCM configuration
  • CONFIGURE (programmable parameters) the exterior lighting stop and tail lamp or front turn lamp outage configuration off. TEST the system for normal operation.
  • The turn signal function is inoperative
  • Multifunction switch
  • Steering Column Control Module (SCCM)
  • The turn signal function is always on

  • One turn signal lamp is inoperative/always on
