DTC Description Action
B1A82:09 External Trip Switch: Component Failure CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC B1A82:09 is still present, INSTALL a new LH steering wheel switch. REFER to STEERING COLUMN SWITCHES . CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the self-test.
B1A82:11 External Trip Switch: Circuit Short To Ground GO to PINPOINT TEST AP .
B1A82:13 External Trip Switch: Circuit Open GO to PINPOINT TEST AP .
P0381:01 Glow Plug/Heater Indicator Circuit: General Electrical Failure INSTALL a new Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). REFER to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) . TEST the system for normal operation.
P0460:11 Fuel Level Sensor A Circuit: Circuit Short to Ground For single fuel tank, GO to PINPOINT TEST B . For dual fuel tanks, GO to PINPOINT TEST C .
P0460:13 Fuel Level Sensor A Circuit: Circuit Open For single fuel tank, GO to PINPOINT TEST B . For dual fuel tanks, GO to PINPOINT TEST C .
P1346:11 Fuel Level Sensor B Circuit: Circuit Short to Ground GO to PINPOINT TEST C .

RETRIEVE and REPAIR all non-network DTCs in the PCM and other modules on the network. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES for the correct navigation of all DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation.
U0402:00 Invalid Data Received from TCM: No Sub-Type Information DTC U0402:00 is set when the IPC receives invalid network data from the Transmission Control Module (TCM) for the transmission temperature input. RETRIEVE and REPAIR all non-network DTCs in the TCM and other modules on the network. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES for the correct navigation of all DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation.
U0402:81 Invalid Data Received from TCM: Invalid Serial Data Received DTC U0402:81 is set when the IPC receives invalid network data from the TCM for the transmission temperature input. RETRIEVE and REPAIR all non-network DTCs in the TCM and other modules on the network. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES for the correct navigation of all DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation.
U0415:56 Invalid Data Received from Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Control Module: Invalid/Incompatible Configuration DTC U0415:56 is set when the IPC receives ABS data for trailer sway and the IPC is not configured for trailer sway. DETERMINE which module (IPC or ABS) has been replaced. CARRY OUT the Programmable Module Installation (PMI) (when the original module is not available) for the module in question. REFER to MODULE CONFIGURATION . TEST the system for normal operation.
U0422:00 Invalid Data Received from Body Control Module: No Sub-Type Information DTC U0422:00 is set when the IPC receives invalid Body Control Module (BCM) data for the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) function. RETRIEVE and REPAIR all non-network DTCs in the BCM. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES for the correct navigation of all DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation.
U0422:56 Invalid Data Received from Body Control Module: Invalid/Incompatible Configuration DTC U0422:56 is set when the IPC receives BCM data for the autolamp function and the IPC is not configured for autolamps. DETERMINE which module (IPC or BCM) has been replaced. CARRY OUT the Programmable Module Installation (PMI) (when the original module is not available) for the module in question. REFER to MODULE CONFIGURATION . TEST the system for normal operation.
U0424:00 Invalid Data Received from HVAC Control Module: No Sub Type Information DTC U0424:00 is set when the IPC receives unknown outside air temperature data from the HVAC module. RETRIEVE and REPAIR all non-network DTCs in the PCM and the HVAC module. REFER to the ENGINE CONTROLS - INTRODUCTION (EXCEPT DIESEL & HYBRID) (SECTION 0) or INTRODUCTION - DIESEL MODELS and CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION & DIAGNOSTICS for a list of all DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation.
U0424:81 Invalid Data Received from HVAC Control Module: Invalid Serial Data Received DTC U0424:81 is set when the IPC receives invalid outside air temperature data from the HVAC module. RETRIEVE and REPAIR all non-network DTCs in the PCM and the HVAC module. REFER to the ENGINE CONTROLS - INTRODUCTION (EXCEPT DIESEL & HYBRID) (SECTION 0) or INTRODUCTION - DIESEL MODELS and CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION & DIAGNOSTICS for a list of all DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation.
U0424:82 Invalid Data Received from HVAC Control Module: Alive/Sequence Counter Incorrect/Not Updated GO to PINPOINT TEST BJ .
U045A:56 Invalid Data Received From Parking Assist Control Module "A": Invalid/Incompatible Configuration DTC U045A:56 is set when the IPC receives rear parking aid data when the IPC is not configured for parking aid. CARRY OUT the PMI (when the original module is not available) for the IPC. REFER to MODULE CONFIGURATION . TEST the system for normal operation.
U045A:86 Invalid Data Received From Parking Assist Control Module "A": Signal Invalid DTC U045A:86 is set when the IPC receives rear parking aid data when the IPC is not configured for parking aid in the IPC. RETRIEVE and REPAIR all non-network DTCs in the Parking Aid Module (PAM). REFER to PARKING AID for a list of all DTCs. If there are no DTCs present, INSTALL a new PAM. REFER to PARKING AID . TEST the system for normal operation.
U0462:82 Invalid Data Received from Compass Module: Alive/Sequence Counter Incorrect/Not Updated GO to PINPOINT TEST AQ .
U046B:86 Invalid Data Received From Global Positioning System Module: Signal Invalid DTC U046B:86 is set when the IPC receives invalid data for the compass for 5 seconds or longer. RETRIEVE and REPAIR all non-network DTCs in the Global Positioning System Module (GPSM). Refer to the appropriate Information and Entertainment Systems article for the procedure. If there are no DTCs present, INSTALL a new Global Positioning System Module (GPSM). REFER to Refer to the appropriate Information and Entertainment Systems article for the procedure. TEST the system for normal operation.
U2100:00 Initial Configuration Not Complete: No Sub Type Information CARRY OUT the PMI (when the original module is not available) for the IPC. REFER to MODULE CONFIGURATION . TEST the system for normal operation. After the PMI, CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the self-test.
U3000:41 Control Module: General Checksum Failure CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC U3000:41 returns, INSTALL a new IPC. REFER to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) . TEST the system for normal operation.
U3000:42 Control Module: General Memory Failure CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC U3000:42 returns, INSTALL a new IPC. REFER to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) . TEST the system for normal operation.
U3000:44 Control Module: Data Memory Failure CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC U3000:44 returns, INSTALL a new IPC. REFER to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) . TEST the system for normal operation.
U3000:46 Control Module: Calibration/Parameter Memory Failure CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC U3000:46 returns, INSTALL a new IPC. REFER to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) . TEST the system for normal operation.
U3003:16 Battery Voltage: Circuit Voltage Below Threshold GO to PINPOINT TEST BK .
U3003:17 Battery Voltage: Circuit Voltage Above Threshold GO to PINPOINT TEST BL .
U300A:64 Ignition Switch: Signal Plausibility Failure DTC U300A:64 sets on-demand and in continuous memory when the IPC detects a messaged START input for 15 seconds or longer. Once the fault condition is detected, the IPC operates with limited functionality for 15 seconds then returns to full functionality. REFER to STEERING COLUMN SWITCHES to diagnose the ignition start circuit to the BCM.

C1327 (3-channel) Brake Fluid Level Low GO to PINPOINT TEST P .
C0049:7B (4-channel) Brake Fluid: Low Fluid Level GO to PINPOINT TEST P .
All other DTCs - REFER to ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) & STABILITY CONTROL .
BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) DTC CHART

DTC Description Action
B1048:01 Brake Fluid Level Switch: General Electrical Failure GO to PINPOINT TEST P .
B10F1:14 Key In Switch: Circuit Short To Ground or Open If the chime sounds with the door ajar and no key in the ignition, GO to PINPOINT TEST AT . If the key-in-ignition chime is inoperative, GO to PINPOINT TEST AV .
C1D00:11 Park Brake Apply Switch: Circuit Short to Ground GO to PINPOINT TEST P .
All other DTCs - REFER to the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Chart in MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES .

P0460 Fuel Level Sensor A Circuit REFER to the ENGINE CONTROLS - INTRODUCTION (EXCEPT DIESEL & HYBRID) (SECTION 0) or INTRODUCTION - DIESEL MODELS first. If sent here from the PC/ED information, GO to PINPOINT TEST B  for single fuel tank or GO to PINPOINT TEST C  for dual fuel tanks.
P0461 Fuel Level Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance REFER to the ENGINE CONTROLS - INTRODUCTION (EXCEPT DIESEL & HYBRID) (SECTION 0) or INTRODUCTION - DIESEL MODELS first. If sent here from the PC/ED information, GO to PINPOINT TEST B  for single fuel tank or GO to PINPOINT TEST C  for dual fuel tanks.

P1678 Low Oil Pressure Lamp Control Circuit For incorrect oil pressure gauge indication, GO to PINPOINT TEST D . For the low oil pressure warning indicator, GO to PINPOINT TEST AB . For the low oil pressure message center warning indicator, GO to PINPOINT TEST AH .
P2065 Fuel Level Sensor B Circuit REFER to the ENGINE CONTROLS - INTRODUCTION (EXCEPT DIESEL & HYBRID) (SECTION 0) or INTRODUCTION - DIESEL MODELS first. If sent here from the PC/ED information, GO to PINPOINT TEST C .
P2066 Fuel Level Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance REFER to the ENGINE CONTROLS - INTRODUCTION (EXCEPT DIESEL & HYBRID) (SECTION 0) or INTRODUCTION - DIESEL MODELS first. If sent here from the PC/ED information, GO to PINPOINT TEST C .
