Removal and Installation

NOTE: Do not spill brake fluid on painted or plastic surfaces or damage to surface may occur. If brake fluid is spilled onto a painted or plastic surface, immediately wash the surface with water.
NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
NOTE: F250, F350 shown, F450, F550 similar.
  1. Remove the wheel and tire. Refer to WHEELS AND TIRES .
    • To install, tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

    • To install, on F-250, F-350, tighten to 75 Nm (55 lb-ft).
    • To install, on F-450, F-550, tighten to 63 Nm (46 lb-ft).
