DTC P1229: Charge Air Cooler (CAC) Pump Driver

DTC P1229: CHARGE AIR COOLER (CAC) PUMP DRIVER

Description:	This DTC sets when the PCM commands the supercharger CAC pump to operate but no current is detected.
Possible Causes:	CAC pump motor circuit open CAC pump relay coil open CAC pump circuit open between the relay and the CAC pump CAC pump motor short PCM circuit open between the relay and the PCM Incorrect CAC pump ground connection
Diagnostic Aids:	Check for voltage at the relay. Check the fuse in the voltage circuit. Check the ground connection of the CAC pump motor.
Application	Key On Engine Off	Key On Engine Running	Continuous Memory
