Tire Rotation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2013 Ford F-550 Super Duty, 2013 Ford F-450 Super Duty, 2013 Ford F-350 Super Duty, and 2013 Ford F-250 Super Duty. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

For vehicles with different front and rear tire pressure the tire pressures must be adjusted and the tire pressure sensors must be trained following a tire rotation. Refer to TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (TPMS) SENSOR TRAINING . Failure to train the sensors results in a false low tire pressure event, which causes the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) indicator to illuminate.

For vehicles with the same tire pressure for front and rear tires, tire rotation does not affect the system.
