Removal And Installation: Seat: Removal

  1. Remove the LH and RH quarter trim panels. REFER to QUARTER TRIM PANEL - WITHOUT INFLATABLE SAFETY BELTS or REFER to QUARTER TRIM PANEL - WITH INFLATABLE SAFETY BELTS .
  2. Connect the third row power fold seat control switch, if equipped.
  3. NOTE: If equipped with inoperative power seat, Refer to MANUAL OVERRIDE OF INOPERATIVE POWER SEAT - 3RD ROW .

    Position both seats to the load floor position.

  4. NOTE: If equipped with a power seat, do not lift the load floor flapper panels too far or damage to the wire harness retainers will occur.

    Separate the 2 load floor supports (1 shown in illustration).

    • Push the load floor support rearward and slightly lift the load floor to disengage.

  5. If equipped, disconnect the electrical connector and detach the wire harness retainers.

  6. Detach the 2 wire harness retainers on the RH side.

  7. Remove the 4 mounting bracket-to-floor bolts and remove the third row seat.
