Locked Safety Belt Retractor Releasing

NOTE:
Disassembly steps in this procedure may contain assembly detail.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

- Allow the safety belt webbing to retract back into the safety belt retractor.
- Extract the safety belt webbing from the safety belt retractor.
- If the safety belt does not extract and/or the D-ring bolt cannot be installed, install a new safety belt retractor. Refer to SAFETY BELT RETRACTOR - 2ND ROW, OUTBOARD, WITH INFLATABLE SHOULDER BELT .
- If the safety belt does not extract and/or the D-ring bolt cannot be installed, install a new safety belt retractor. Refer to SAFETY BELT RETRACTOR - 2ND ROW, OUTBOARD, WITH INFLATABLE SHOULDER BELT .
- To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
- Check the active restraint system for correct operation. Refer to COMPONENT TESTS and the appropriate FUNCTIONAL TEST procedure .
