Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2013 Ford Explorer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The PCM  is responsible for allowing starter and fuel injector operation. The PCM  receives an enable or disable message from the BCM  over the HS-CAN  .

If the PCM  is replaced, the parameter reset procedure must be performed to enable PATS  .
