Washer Pump and Reservoir: Removal

NOTE: To prevent spilling washer fluid, drain the washer reservoir before removal.
  1. Remove the washer reservoir cap from the washer reservoir.
  2. Remove the RF  fender splash shield. REFER to FENDER SPLASH SHIELD .
  3. NOTE: Front bumper cover removed for clarity.

    Disconnect the washer pump and washer level sensor electrical connectors and disconnect the wire pin-type retainer from the washer reservoir.

    Disconnect the washer pump hoses.

    Remove the 2 washer reservoir nuts and the washer reservoir bolt.

    • To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

    Pull the washer reservoir off of the studs and remove the washer reservoir through the RF  wheel well.
