Removal and Installation

- Open the glove compartment.
- Release the glove compartment stop and lower the glove compartment.
- If equipped, remove the telematics module. For additional information, Refer to the appropriate article for the procedure.
- Remove the 2 Inertia Fuel Shutoff (IFS) switch bolts.
- To install, tighten to 2 Nm (18 lb-in) .
- Disconnect the IFS switch electrical connector and remove the IFS switch from the vehicle.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
