Removal And Installation: Armrest: Removal

NOTE: For parts identification and location, Refer to SEAT - EXPLODED VIEW .
  1. Remove the 2 center  head restraint guide sleeves. REFER to HEAD RESTRAINT GUIDE SLEEVE .
  2. Open the backrest cover.
    1. Detach the backrest cover J-clips at the bottom of the seat backrest.
    2. Remove the 4 pin-type retainers.
    3. Detach the 4 backrest cover inner J-clips attached to the hard back panel.
    4. Detach the hook-and-loop strips.

  3. Pull the backrest cover out.

  4. Remove the armrest.
    1. Remove the 3 screws.
    2. Remove the 3 armrest-to-backrest frame bolts.
      • To install, tighten to 15 Nm (133 lb-in).
    3. Detach the 2 retaining clips.
    4. Pull out at the front and remove the armrest assembly.
