Seat Backrest: Assembly

  1. Position the backrest frame assembly into the backrest foam pad.
  2. Install the 2 pin-type retainers.
  3. If equipped, install the power lumbar retaining clips to backrest frame and connect the power lumbar motor.

  4. If equipped, install the manual lumbar.
    • Engage the manual lumbar retainers.
    • Install the manual lumbar control cable retainer.
  5. If equipped, install the backrest TED  .
    • Position the TED  through the power lumbar cable.
    • Attach the TED  to the backrest foam pad wire.
    • Engage the TED  upper retainers to the backrest frame wire.
    • Connect the electrical connector and attach the pin-type retainer.
  6. If equipped, connect the backrest heater mat electrical connector and attach the pin-type retainer.

  7. Install the seat backrest cover. Refer to SEAT BACKREST COVER .
