All vehicles 

  1. Using a punch, remove and discard the manual shaft-to-TR sensor roll pin.

  2. Loosen the TR sensor detent spring bolt and the detent spring enough to remove the tension from the TR sensor.

  3. Slide the manual shaft out and remove the TR sensor, park pawl actuator rod and the manual shaft.

  4. Remove the bolt and TR sensor detent spring.

  5. Remove the park pawl pin plug.

  6. Remove the park pawl pin and the park pawl.

  7. Install the Rear Bearing Remover/Installer on the rear bearing with the Forcing Screw and remove the inner and outer output shaft bearings.

    Vehicles equipped with PTO 

  8. Remove and discard the 6 PTO cover bolts, the PTO cover and gasket.
