Transmission Filler Tube - Gasoline Engines: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
  2. Remove the transmission fluid level indicator.

  3. Remove the upper transmission fluid filler tube bolt.

  4. Remove the lower transmission fluid filler tube bolt, remove the transmission fluid filler tube and discard the O-ring seal.
