Transmission Filler Tube - Gasoline Engines: Installation

  1. Install a new transmission fluid filler tube O-ring seal and lubricate it with clean transmission fluid.

  2. Install the transmission fluid filler tube in the transmission and install the lower transmission fluid filler tube bolt.
    • Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

  3. Install the upper transmission fluid filler tube bolt.
    • Tighten to 11 Nm (97 lb-in).

  4. Check the transmission fluid. Refer to PRELIMINARY INSPECTION .
