Turbine Shaft Speed (TSS) Sensor & Intermediate Shaft Speed Sensor: Removal

  1. Disconnect the Turbine Shaft Speed (TSS) and intermediate shaft speed sensor connector.

    NOTE: Prior to removing the sensor, make sure that the area around the sensor is free of foreign material to prevent contamination entering the transmission.
  2. Remove the TSS and intermediate shaft speed sensor.
    1. Remove the bolt.
    2. Remove the TSS and intermediate shaft speed sensor.
