Solenoid Body Assembly: Assembly

Install a new backing plate gasket, the backing plate and backing plate bolts.
- Tighten to 13 Nm (115 lb-in).

Install a new backing plate gasket.

NOTE: Tighten the bolts in a crisscross pattern to prevent the gasket from becoming distorted.

Assemble the top and bottom halves of the solenoid body.
- Tighten to 13 Nm (115 lb-in).

Install the TFT sensor.

Install the shift solenoids and the shift solenoid retaining E clips.

Install a new O-ring seal on the bulkhead connector in the uppermost groove. Lubricate the O-ring seal with transmission fluid.

Install the main control valve body wiring harness and connect the connectors.

Install the manual valve.
