Drive Pinion Seal: Removal

  1. Remove the driveshaft. REFER to DRIVESHAFT .
  2. Using the Drive Pinion Flange Holding Fixture 205-126 T78P-4851-A, hold the pinion flange and remove the nut. Discard the nut.

  3. Index mark the location of the pinion to the pinion flange.

  4. Using the 2 Jaw Puller 205-D072 D97L-4221-A, remove the pinion flange.

  5. Using the Torque Converter Fluid Seal Remover 307-309 T94P-77001-BH and Slide Hammer 100-001 T50T-100-A, remove and discard the pinion seal.
