Backup Transceiver: Removal

- Apply the parking brake.
- Place the selector lever to the full rearward position.
- Position the front seats fully rearward and fully reclined.
- Remove the LH and the Right Hand (RH) front floor console side trim panels.
- Remove the latch trim panel.
- Remove the front floor console upper finish panel screw.

NOTE: The RH floor console side trim panel is removed for clarity.
Unclip the console upper finish panel from the console.
- If equipped, disconnect the hill descent control switch electrical connector.
- Disconnect the ambient lighting electrical connector.
- Remove the ambient light bar.
- Release the 5 tabs and remove the selector lever boot from the console upper finish panel.
- If equipped, disconnect the audio input jack, USB
port and power point electrical connectors.
- Remove the 2 retainers and the latch panel. REFER to CONSOLE - FRONT, FLOOR , Exploded View.
- Release the 4 clips and pull up on the front of the front floor console storage bin to gain access to the backup transceiver.NOTE: LH front floor console storage bin clips shown in illustration, RH clips similar.
- Remove the 4 backup transceiver nuts and disconnect and remove the backup transceiver.
