Diagnostic Aids

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2013 Ford Explorer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

DTC U045A:00 indicates a concern with PAM information. The module reporting this DTC is not the problem module. Do not install a new PSCM as part of the repair for DTC U045A:00.

When the PSCM sets this DTC power steering assist will be present, but active parking assist will be disabled.

The presence of DTC U045A:00 will prevent the active park assist system (if equipped) from activating. If set during an active park assist event, the event will be terminated and the active park assist system will deactivate.
