Roof Opening Panel Glass - Front Sliding: Installation

NOTE:
The roof opening panel motor(s) must be initialized when repairs are carried out on any part of the roof opening panel system, including whenever:
Refer to ROOF OPENING PANEL MOTOR INITIALIZATION - SLIDING GLASS PANEL and Refer to ROOF OPENING PANEL MOTOR INITIALIZATION - SHADE .
- the roof opening sliding glass or power shade motor has been removed from the roof opening panel system.
- the roof opening panel glass has been removed from the roof opening panel system.
- the roof opening panel assembly has been removed from the vehicle.
- a new roof opening sliding glass or power shade motor has been installed.
- a new roof opening panel glass has been installed.
- a new roof opening panel assembly has been installed.
Refer to ROOF OPENING PANEL MOTOR INITIALIZATION - SLIDING GLASS PANEL and Refer to ROOF OPENING PANEL MOTOR INITIALIZATION - SHADE .
- From the outside of the vehicle, install the front sliding glass panel assembly.
- Install the 4 front sliding glass panel screws.
- Tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
- Check for correct alignment of the front sliding glass panel. Refer to ROOF OPENING PANEL ALIGNMENT - FRONT .
- Slide the concertina blind forward and clip the top portion of the concertina blind.
- Initialize the sliding glass panel motor and the power shade motor. Refer to ROOF OPENING PANEL MOTOR INITIALIZATION - SLIDING GLASS PANEL and Refer to ROOF OPENING PANEL MOTOR INITIALIZATION - SHADE .
