Hydraulic Lash Adjuster: Removal

  1. NOTE: The hydraulic lash adjusters can be removed with the cylinder heads installed on the engine.

    Remove the rocker arm assemblies. For additional information, refer to ROCKER ARM .

  2. Using a magnetic telescopic pick-up tool, remove the hydraulic lash adjuster from the valve tappet assembly.
