Crankshaft Pulley: Removal

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Remove the cooling fan and cooling fan stator. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING - DIESEL ENGINES .
- Remove the accessory drive belt. For additional information, refer to ACCESSORY DRIVE .

WARNING: Support the vibration damper during mounting bolt removal. The damper can slide off the nose of the crankshaft. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.
Remove the 4 bolts and the crankshaft pulley.
