Exhaust Manifold - RH: Installation

Position the exhaust manifold and 2 new exhaust manifold gaskets and install 10 new exhaust manifold-to-cylinder head studs.
- Tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
Install 10 new exhaust manifold nuts in the sequence shown in the illustration.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

Position the exhaust manifold heat shield and install the 2 bolts.
- Tighten to 14 Nm (124 lb-in).
Install the exhaust Y-pipe. For additional information, refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM .
Install the RH inner fenderwell. For additional information, refer to FRONT END BODY PANELS .
Install the starter. For additional information, refer to STARTING SYSTEM - GASOLINE ENGINES .
Install the transmission filler tube. For additional information, refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION - TORQSHIFT .
