Crankshaft Pulley: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
  2. Press the position retaining tabs and rotate the lower cooling fan shroud upward.

  3. Rotate the tensioner clockwise and remove the accessory drive belt.

  4. Remove the crankshaft pulley bolt and washer.
    • Discard the crankshaft pulley bolt.
  5. Using the Crankshaft Vibration Damper Remover, remove the crankshaft pulley.
