Removal and Installation

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. REFER to JACKING AND LIFTING .
  2. Disconnect the Engine Oil Pressure (EOP) switch electrical connector.

  3. Remove the EOP  switch.
    • To install, tighten to 14 Nm (124 lb-in) plus an additional 180 degrees.

  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Apply thread sealant with PTFE to the EOP  switch threads prior to installation.
