In-Vehicle Repair: Flywheel: Installation

  1. NOTE: One of the 8 flywheel holes are offset so the flywheel can only be installed in one position.

    Install the dual mass flywheel and the 8 bolts and tighten in sequence shown in illustration.

    • Tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).

  2. Install the clutch. For additional information, refer to CLUTCH .
  3. After completing the repairs, use the scan tool to perform the Misfire Monitor Neutral Profile Correction procedure following the on-screen instructions.
