Clutch Slave Cylinder: Installation

  1. Install a new retaining clip.

  2. Position the clutch slave cylinder to the transmission, inserting the tube through the retaining clip. Install the 2 clutch slave cylinder bolts.
    • Tighten to 11 Nm (97 lb-in).
  3. Install the clutch hydraulic tube connector.
  4. NOTE: Before securing the transmission to the engine, connect the hydraulic tube to the clutch hydraulic tube connector. When connecting the hydraulic tube, a click will be heard when the tube is correctly connected. Pull on the tube to make sure it is locked in the fitting.

    Install the transmission. For additional information, refer to MANUAL TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION - MT82 GETRAG 6-SPEED or MANUAL TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION - TR6060 .

  5. Bleed the clutch hydraulic system. For additional information, refer to MANUAL TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION AND CLUTCH - GENERAL INFORMATION .
