Wiper Pivot Arm: Installation

  1. Using a wire brush, clean the wiper pivot arm shaft.

  2. Cycle and park the windshield wipers.
  3. NOTE: New wiper pivot arms need to be installed as an assembly.

    Install the 2 wiper pivot arms to the specified distance.

  4. Install the 2 wiper pivot arm nuts.
    • Tighten to 28 Nm (21 lb-ft).
  5. Install the 2 wiper pivot arm nut covers.
