Wiper Blade and Pivot Arm Adjustment

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2013 Ford Mustang. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: When adjusting the wiper pivot arms, the wiper blades must not be less than the specified distance from the cowl weatherstrip.
  1. Cycle and park the windshield wipers.
  2. NOTE: Make sure there is no mechanical binding in the linkage preventing the wiper arms from returning to the fully PARKED position.

Verify that the RH windshield wiper blade is 33-45 mm (1.29-1.77 in) above the cowl weatherstrip.
