DTC P208B: REDUCTANT Pump A Control Range/Performance

DTC P208B: REDUCTANT PUMP A CONTROL RANGE/PERFORMANCE

Description:  The PCM monitors the RDPC circuit for pump motor speed deviation. If the difference between the commanded and monitored pump speeds exceeds 300 rpm, this DTC sets and the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system shuts down until the next key cycle.
Possible Causes: 
  • High resistance in the VPWR circuit
  • High resistance in the GND circuit
  • Damaged reductant pump assembly
Diagnostic Aids:  This DTC is an informational DTC and may be accompanied by other DTCs. Diagnose other DTCs first. If no concerns are present, clear the DTCs and repeat the self-test. If this DTC is retrieved again with no other DTCs present, install a new reductant pump assembly.
