DTC P1703: BRAKE SWITCH OUT OF SELF TEST RANGE
| Description: | The DTC sets when the key ON, engine OFF (KOEO) self-test is carried out, and the brake pedal position (BPP) switch signal is high, or during the key ON, engine running (KOER) self-test, the BPP switch signal does not cycle high and low. | ||

| Diagnostic Aids: | Using the diagnostic tool, check the BOO1 PID. The stoplamps and BOO1 PID should turn ON and OFF with brake pedal activation. | ||
