DTC P0500: Vehicle Speed Sensor A

DTC P0500: VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR A

Description:  This DTC sets when the PCM detected an error in the vehicle speed information.
Possible Causes: 
  • VSS circuit open
  • VSS circuit short to ground
  • VSS circuit short to voltage
  • Damaged ABS module
  • Damaged PCM
Diagnostic Aids:  Monitor the VSS (SPD) PID while driving the vehicle.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All GO to PINPOINT TEST DF .
