DTC P0182: Fuel Temperature Sensor A Circuit Low

DTC P0182: FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR A CIRCUIT LOW

Description:  The PCM continuously monitors the fuel rail temperature (FRT) sensor input to determine if the FRT sensor signal is within an expected range. The test fails when FRT voltage is lower than expected.
Possible Causes: 
  • FRT circuit short to ground
  • Damaged FRT sensor connection
  • Low ambient temperature operation
  • Damaged FRT sensor
Diagnostic Aids:  Monitor the FRT voltage and temperature PIDs on a scan tool to isolate an open or short circuit from the system concern.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All GO to PINPOINT TEST MC .
