DTC P0181: FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR A CIRCUIT RANGE/PERFORMANCE
| Description: | The PCM monitors the difference between the fuel rail temperature (FRT) sensor and the charge air cooler temperature (CACT) sensor on engine start after a 6 hour soak. The test fails when the difference between the two temperatures exceeds a calibrated value. | ||

| Diagnostic Aids: | Monitor the FRT voltage and temperature PIDs on a scan tool to isolate an open or short circuit from the system concern. Diagnose any FRT circuit related DTCs first. | ||
