DTC P0117: Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit Low

DTC P0117: ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 1 CIRCUIT LOW

Description:  This DTC sets when the ECT circuit voltage is less than 0.2 volt.
Possible Causes: 
  • ECT circuit short to ground
  • Damaged engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor
  • Incorrect harness connection
Diagnostic Aids:  An ECT1 PID reading less than 0.2 volt with ignition ON, engine OFF or during any engine operating mode indicates a concern is present.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All GO to PINPOINT TEST K .
