Removal and Installation

  1. Disconnect the license plate lamp harness from the rear bumper.

  2. If equipped, disconnect the rear park aid harness.
  3. Remove the 4 rear bumper-to-bracket nuts.
    • To install, tighten to 115 Nm (85 lb-ft).

  4. NOTE: The aid of an assistant is required to remove the bumper.

    Remove the 2 rear bumper bolts and retainers (1 each side).

  5. Remove the rear bumper from the vehicle.
  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Transfer all necessary components.
