The Audio Front Control Module (ACM) illumination is inoperative/does not dim - AM/FM/CD audio unit only	MS-CAN ACM	CARRY OUT the network test. If the scan tool responds with no communication with the ACM, REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK . If the scan tool communicates with the ACM, INSTALL a new ACM. REFER to INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS - AM/FM/CD . TEST the system for normal operation.
The FCIM illumination is inoperative/does not dim	Infotainment Controller Area Network (I-CAN) FCIM	CARRY OUT the network test. If the scan tool responds with no communication with the FCIM, REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK . If the scan tool communicates with the FCIM, INSTALL a new FCIM. Refer to INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS - 8 INCH (203MM) TOUCHSCREEN or INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS - SONY 8 INCH (203MM) TOUCHSCREEN .
The FDIM illumination is inoperative/does not dim	APIM FDIM	VERIFY that the audio system can be operated from the FDIM. If the audio system operates correctly from the FDIM inputs, REFER to APIM HARDWARE TESTING . If the APIM replacement does not resolve the condition, replace the FDIM. REFER to INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS - 8 INCH (203MM) TOUCHSCREEN or INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS - SONY 8 INCH (203MM) TOUCHSCREEN . TEST the system for normal operation. If the audio system does not operate correctly from the FDIM inputs, REFER to INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS - 8 INCH (203MM) TOUCHSCREEN or INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS - SONY 8 INCH (203MM) TOUCHSCREEN .
The hazard switch/eject switch is inoperative/does not dim - with 8-inch (203mm) display only	FCIM	INSTALL a new FCIM. Refer to INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS - 8 INCH (203MM) TOUCHSCREEN or INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS - SONY 8 INCH (203MM) TOUCHSCREEN . TEST the system for normal operation.
The Passenger Air Bag Deactivation (PAD) indicator, stability/traction control switch, hill descent switch (if equipped) illumination is inoperative/does not dim	Wiring, terminals or connectors Illuminated switch Passenger Air Bag Deactivation (PAD) indicator	GO to PINPOINT TEST E .
One or more illumination source is inoperative	Wiring, terminals or connectors Illuminated source	GO to PINPOINT TEST E .
The window control switch illumination is inoperative	Window control switch	CHECK the operation of the power windows. If the power windows operate correctly, INSTALL a new window control switch. Refer to WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH . TEST the system for normal operation. If the power windows do not operate correctly, Refer to WINDOWS AND GLASS, FRAMES AND MECHANISMS .
All network controlled illumination does not dim	Controller Area Network (CAN) concern BCM	CARRY OUT the network test. If the scan tool responds with no communication to any module on the CAN, REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK . If the scan tool communicates with the modules on the CAN, INSTALL a new BCM. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES . TEST the system for normal operation.
The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) illumination is inoperative	HS-CAN IPC	CARRY OUT the network test. If the scan tool responds with no communication with the IPC, REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK . If the scan tool communicates with the IPC, INSTALL a new IPC. REFER to INSTRUMENTATION, MESSAGE CENTER, AND WARNING CHIMES . TEST the system for normal operation.
The HVAC module illumination is inoperative - without 8-inch (203mm) display	MS-CAN HVAC module	CARRY OUT the network test. If the scan tool responds with no communication with the HVAC module, REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK . If the scan tool communicates with the HVAC module, INSTALL a new HVAC module. REFER to CLIMATE CONTROL . TEST the system for normal operation.
The Trailer Brake Control (TBC) module illumination is inoperative	HS-CAN TBC module	CARRY OUT the network test. If the scan tool responds with no communication with the TBC module, REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK . If the scan tool communicates with the TBC module, INSTALL a new TBC module, REFER to AUXILIARY BRAKE SYSTEM . TEST the system for normal operation.
